Eco Travel Lid

Ever see something and wonder, "Why didn't I think of that???"

That's exactly what I thought when those Saran Quick Covers came out. You know what I'm talking about? The little shower caps for your bowls.

Well, I nearly kicked myself when I found Allyson Hill's blog and her tutorial on how to make your own eco travel lid.

DAG GUM - Why didn't I think of that?

Well, it's not my idea but I sure can whip one up! And I love that you can make them for the exact size of your bowls! No droopy wrap getting in your food.

And it's pretty on top.

Close up of the lining.

I've never claimed to sew the straightest lines.

Dude, they're washable.
Go.
Make One.
Now.

Anyway I wanted to say thank you so much for your comment today... glad to know there are lots of others out there that have delt with it and are "just fine". Hope you have a wonderful weekend sweets!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Thanks also for sharing this craft. I'm constantly trying to find those shower cap things for bowls and never thought to make my own.

Very clever, I am terrible at straightlines too. Drawing, sewing, or cutting, I don't know why. I love your contribution today, I could use a few of those. :-)
