Lamp Redo Number 1

We had a garage sale last weekend and my mother in law brought over 3 lamps along with some other stuff to sell. They weren't easy on the eyes and had their fair share of dust. I offered her cash but she resisted and gave them to me - for free! Can't beat that deal.

We'll start with the lamp I cleverly named, "The Monkey Lamp".

You know you love him.

I primed and painted him Ivy Leaf green and expected to rub some dark stain on top. But I didn't need to! Gotta love that.

Is it just me, or did his smile get bigger? You'd be smiling too if you were holding a pineapple.

He's so much better green! It's like he should have always been that color.

Great lamp project! I'm following you via the blog post you left me. I'm new to this avenue of the blogging world as well and I'll agree - it's might addicting, but fun! I LOVE the skirt project you made a few posts ago. Fabulous!
